Operations Developer
We are looking to expand our team with an Operations Developer. You will help streamline our digital processes and infrastructure to support and scale up our Marketing & Sales and Customer Success operations.
Your tasks:
The job initially consists of 4 main pillars:
- Bring the development and maintenance of our website (incl. user portal) in-house and expand with a webshop, wiki-style knowledge base, easy-to-use system to book a time slot for a sales demo, support ticketing system, etc.
- Analyse and improve the 3rd party licencing system integration in our software products (C/C++).
- Deepen the integration between the back-end of our user portal and the licencing system, to establish automatic subscription renewal incl. recurrent credit card payment, automatic targeted mailings, automatic invoicing etc. The data security of our clients is of course crucial here.
- Modernize and expand our software deployment from single setup.exe to better serve our clients’ evolving needs (e.g. for MS Intune deployment).
To effectively work on these items, you will work closely with our Customer Success Officer, Product Officer and CTO.
In a later stage, junior software development tasks can be added to your workload.
Our workplace:
You will be working in a small and dedicated company with an international reputation (clients in more 40 countries). Pleasant office facing Citadelpark, easily accessible by public transport (near Gent Sint-Pieters railway station). Flexible working (including working-from-home) is possible.
Your strengths:
- Master or bachelor industrial engineer computer science.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Ability to work independently.
- A collaborative spirit, through brainstorms, code-reviews, status updates and technical discussions.
- Likes to play with new tools and analyze them for effective use.
- An entrepreneurial and client-oriented mindset.
- A knack for delivering qualitative, elegant and maintainable solutions.
We offer you:
- A stable, well-run company, aiming to minimize procedural and bureaucratic aspects.
- A small team of dedicated, experienced colleagues, focused on doing an excellent job and always ready to help each other.
- A high level of autonomy and the chance to work on deep focus projects without too many day-to-day disturbances.
- Competitive salary in line with skills and experience (including 13th month of salary, double holiday pay).
- Extra-legal benefits: Eco-vouchers, bicycle allowance and/or full reimbursement of public transport expenses, hospitalization insurance, collective pension plan.
Employment: Full-time
