Concrete vault

The object geometry is modelled using a
combination of AutoCAD and SOLIDO.
Here the vault is modelled in AutoCAD as the union of two solids, each of which
is created through horizontal extrusion from a vertical section. Then the
resulted solid is exported into a STL file, which is included in SOLIDO.

Boundary conditions are added, a calculation grid is superposed, and the system (of circa 1,000,000 nodes) is solved.

Column top (about 10,000 nodes)

Sloped roof (about 500,000 nodes)

Insulated pipe (about 50,000 nodes)

Spider glazing (about 1,000,000 nodes)

Brickwork (about 2,000,000 nodes)
The brick is modelled in AutoCAD as a solid, and imported in SOLIDO as a STL file.
